Overview

Roaring Springs is the northwest’s biggest water park, with more than 20 water attractions and over 25 years serving as a destination for family fun in Meridian, Idaho. With Rockbot’s partnership and custom solution, Roaring Springs now automates dynamic, on-brand music and video content that supports a record number of new visitors each season with outstanding guest experience.

Challenge

Roaring Springs initially sought an economical, ad-free video solution for its new Wave Pool screen. The team soon realized Rockbot could solve broader issues across the waterpark and nearby family entertainment center, which together draw nearly a million guests each year. They faced complaints about repetitive music and often had to replace non-family-friendly music videos with a simple visual placeholder.

Solution

Rockbot delivered a single-dashboard solution for the entire Roaring Springs complex, spanning the waterpark, entertainment center, and event venue. The full system – including music and dynamic video for the Wave Pool screen – launched in just over one month, ready for opening day. Centralized control now lets the park run its own in-park ads while ensuring all video content is licensed, family-friendly, and free of outside advertising. Rockbot also powers dynamic programming that supports DJ Nights and Dive-In Movies at the Wave Pool.
